Ranchera Cursi is an homage to Mexican Rancheras and their incredible displays of emotion. It tells the story of a man who is dumped by his love and, in an effort to forget her, writes a song with the cheesiest lyrics ever, knowing she will hate it as soon as she hears it, hence, "The Cheesy Ranchera." There are several layers of guitars and trumpet that make this song a solid piece of work. An ideal song for Cinco de Mayo!
