Almost exactly 10 years after album #1, La Unica finally presents album #2. We had a blast making this album in Baltimore with Ed and love each of these songs which we regularly play live. We decided to call it Jig Reels and Rancheras, a play on how many irish albums simply entitle some tracks "jigs and reels." D. Alice's is a pure jig form, while there are only portions of reels in Aun and Revelation. Rachera Cursi is obviously a ranchera. She's the One is a Cumbia and Driving to Virginia is a solid cha cha. We threw in the Irish Pub Version of D. Alice's at the end to give it a live feel.
